Skiing and snowtubing at Chinguacousy Park
The small ski hill in the park is named Mount Chinguacousy. It is not quite a mountain, however, it's approximately 20m / 65feet high. It's great for beginners who are just learning how to ski or snowboard. There is a magic carpet style conveyor belt to bring people up the hill and a straight downhill path to get down. While the ski hill is miniscule, it's a great opportunity to learn the basics before traveling to larger, more expensive resorts. The ski run is about 200m long.
Snowtubing at Chinguacousy Park
The snowtubing hill is a popular destination for families from across the GTA area. Snowtubing is next to the ski hill and it also has a magic carpet style conveyor belt to bring people up the hill. Tubes are picked up at the base of the hill and carried up on the magic carpet lift. One or two people are allowed in a single tube.
Height requirement is minimum 42", tickets must be purchased at the chalet (no option to prepurchase online), helmets are required and available for rent at the base.
