Chinguacousy Park Playground

The park has several playgrounds. The largest and most popular one is in the middle of the park between the barn and the ski hill. This is a large playground with multi story climbing areas and lots of slides.

Directly next to the large playground is a smaller playground for younger kids. And next to this small playground is a large splashpad that is open during the summer months.

The playground at Chinguacousy Park is a large one! There is a separate structure for smaller kids and a large splash pad, too.

Near the playground is a carousel for extra entertainment. But that's not all! There is also a trackless train that takes rides around the park. You can buy tickets for $4 for the trackless train by the food building near the pool.

The trackelss train makes a stop at the playground as it rides across the park.

Another playground is by the boathouse near the hiking / bike path that runs across the park near the parking lot. This playground is a few minutes' walk away from the centre of the park. During the summer months there is an ice cream truck just across the "red bridge". If you want to stay away from the busy areas you can setup a picnic blanket near this playground, rent a paddleboat (the boathouse is steps away) and enjoy the large green space, set up a badminton net or play soccer or frisbee.

Another playground is located by the boathouse. It tends to be less busy than the larger playground at the centre of the park.

There is even more to do at the park. For a complete list, check out all the attractions and facilities located inside Chinguacousy Park.
