Chinguacousy Park attractions and facilities

The park includes a wide variety of attractions and facilities to make it a popular destination to spend the day with family and friends. Have a read below to find out what Chinguacousy Park has to offer to visitors of all ages.

Paddleboat rental

The paddleboat rental area is by the pond near the bridge with the red top that connects the parking lot with Central Park Drive. Rental fee is $10 for half an hour. It's minutes away from the main playground and splashpad. The paddleboat rental pavilion is open daily except Mondays from 12noon until 730pm. Closed during the winter months. There are no other watercraft other than paddleboats.

Trackless train

Operating during the summer months the train takes riders around the park for a $4 ticket. Located by the minuputting course near the wading pool.

Petting zoo, barn and pony rides

A small petting zoo (tickets required) and barn are by the wading pool. Weather restricions are in place for the well-being of the animals. The pony rides (tickets required) are by the barn. Rides are only available when the weather isn't too hot or cold for the animals.

Greenhouse, wedding chapel and flower garden

A greenhouse and wedding chapel near the beautifully maintained flower garden - that inclues a clocktower - are behind the skate rental building by the wading pool (on the opposite side of the pool from the pool building/lockers). There are also plenty of grassy fields nearby and benches to relax or do some yoga or kicks a ball with the kids.

Mini putting

Miniputting is available near the trackless train ticket station. You need to purchase a ticket from the nearby building (the one where you can buy drinks and food by the wading pool).
